Valley Center Community Planning Group
Five candidates have filed to run for eight seats on the VC Community Planning Group. Which means there will be no election and they will be automatically elected and the remaining seats will be filled by appointment.
The five who qualified are:
- Lisa Adams, an appointed incumbent
- Delores Chavez Harmes, the current chairman of the planning group
- Julia Feliciano
- Riley Fraas, aerospace planning manager
- Kevin Smith, the current vice chairman of the group.
Those who decided NOT to run for reelection (or reappointment as the case may be) included William Del Pilar, Joey Martinez, Jeana Boulos and Kathleen McCabe.
Valley Center Municipal Water District
There will be no election this year for the VCMWD, where both incumbents are running unopposed, thus obviating the need for an election.

Yuima Municipal Water District
The Yuima Municipal Water District, which serves about 200 connections in Pauma Valley, will have four incumbents certified for election in four divisions without an election.
Each candidate ran unopposed. They are: Roland Simpson, incumbent, Division 2; Bruce Knox, Division 3; Stephen H. Wehr, appointed incumbent, Division 4, short term; Don Broomell, appointed incumbent, Division 5.
